I am a pensioner and believe I need to provide my sister with something to fund my funeral as I have no savings, house or any other assets. I chose this company as they appear genuine and fair in their dealings. The staff were helpful and the process was quite easy. The cost is a problem for me and I discussed this with the staff. I am sure this company is the right one to handle my policy.

My CSO was knowledgeable and understood my situation. When I showed concern at the cost of the policy I felt there was a lack of concern or understanding either for my age (71yo) or the fact that I was not able to pay the suggested premium. She reduced the amount of cover so the premium was less but was still very high. I felt she was not empathetic at all and was exhibiting a "take it or leave it" attitude. I agreed to the policy but after thinking about the high premium, I have decided to cancel the policy.

Price of policy is very comparable to most others. Had an issue with the online form because it did not recognise our financial institution. Spoke to consultant who completed the form for me but failed to include the bank as interested party. Ultimately the process was quite straightforward.

As I had read in the reviews for Seniors Insurance, the call was picked up almost immediately by Lyn who patiently provided info for ALL my questions and requests regarding excesses and premiums until I chose an option. Lyn has the level of customer service that we in the target group of seniors need and expect. I trust it will continue if we ever need to make a claim.

Lyn patiently worked with me on excesses and premiums options until I chose one. Lyn's has the level of customer service required that the target client group of seniors need and expect. I don't know how much "service" was given - I did all the hard yards. Everything spits out their end. One thing I was not happy about was AS did not clearly explain in their email summary details of when the odometer reading was to be taken. They asked for the reading about 2 weeks before the commencement date of the policy meaning I would have missed out on 2 weeks mileage. All this was hidden away in the fine print.
