Very friendly and helpful staff member. Later I realised I had an additional question - does the policy cover public liability? I and rang back to get the answer, which is no. I want to switch from another company, Petplan, but they cover public liability so now I'm not sure whether to switch or not. Maybe insurance companies should be more upfront about whether they cover public liability, which only a few of them do. Also, consumer organisations and comparison websites should include this issue. Aust consumers assn and the 'compare' site I used don't. I think it's a big issue, being sued could be bankrupting, whereas big pet bills would be unlikely to.
