Customer service representative, Tiara, provided a comprehensive, professional and personable first contact. The premium was less than half the renewal quote from my current insurer - a customer for over 10yrs - for identical Agreed Value coverage and claim excess contribution. Happy to have avoided the “loyalty tax” associated with a failure to regularly review coverage. Will review Home and Contents and other vehicles when due. Excellent service and very competitive premium. Pleased to recommend this insurer and its knowledgeable, friendly and efficient contact officer.

The product appears OK . We will know more when we see the fine print. The pet insurance market has a significant problem with the perception that there is a limited number of underwriters which supports an appearance that the value for consumers is not well tested by competition. So your competitors using other underwriters are more expensive, sure, but when I calculate the risk of expense for my young dog over a reasonable life expectancy, the costs, in the order of $10K, are likely to be very high. Our experience of other insurers for other pets - they became invisible when the dogs turned 9 - makes us very wary of the long term prospects for service: perhaps Seniors will be better, but they all look good up front.

I originally looked at Choosi to get some idea about pet insurance as I have heard some negative reports about the cost and cover. I then decided on Seniors and the rep was very good in explaining the details so all was decided. My only comment is that I do wonder if the industry has a kind of cartel that influences prices as the agent commissions paid appear to be quite exorbitant whereas more of the premium should go to the underwriters and this would presumbly make premiums cheaper???

Competitive quote. Still waiting on confirmation paperwork. Also went for roadside assist but found this very difficult to get specific information i required. All I obtained thru Australian seniors when I rang was exactly what I had already read. Surely when you sell a policy you would know all the details. Time will tell if its right for me. Will have no issue with switching providers if not a good experience
