The young man, James, that I spoke with was helpful and patient with me. I am also pleased that if I have any further questions I will be able to speak with James; hence the continuity of our initial conversation will be reassuring as this is a big decision we are making and James was, as I said, very pleasant with me.

I purchased motor vehicle insurance and was asked if I was interested in funeral insurance and referred to a consultant. On at least three occasions I advised the young man that I was only interested in getting a quote. Despite this he continued and raised a policy which I have this date cancelled. This pressure selling is annoying, as is having to ring again to cancel an unwanted policy and could have been avoided if he had heeded my request for a quote.
