Life assurance policy purchased, with a follow-up call for my wife's cover at 3pm on Friday 04 October. Clearly the department was busy, because at 4:40pm we still had not received the phone call to take my wife's details and verify everything, so I called to advise that she had not received the phone call. The gentleman I spoke with yesterday was pleasant and informative, as was the one I spoke with today, but I was a bit disappointed with the non-follow-up. I am hoping this is not going to be an example of the service in future, and I feel confident that it will not be.

Thursday, 03 October, service was excellent, with the promise of a follow-up phone call for my wife to provide her details at 3pm on the Friday, but we did not receive that call. I called back at 4:40pm on Friday 04 October, and received a very polite gentleman, as was the first one, who was going to ensure we received that phone call within approx. 15 minutes. If we had received the 3pm call today, the rate would have been excellent.

The policy was very much like other offers from other providers. I chose Seniors believing they valued older australian customers but was hugely disappointed when I could not set up an online account to manage my policy simply because I did not have a mobile phone. When I contacted Aust Seniors their logic was that it was easier so that customers did not need to remember a login and password. Implying, I suppose that all seniors had memory issues, what a shame they don't tell you that up front.

Again, it took 3 calls, with me being disconnected on the first two, wether it was deliberate or not I can not say, before a pleasant agent advised me that their systems of access were designed to "save us older Australians" from needing to remember a login and password. I could not establish an online account because i do not have or need a mobile phone to live.

I never thought that it was that easy to apply for a life insurance policy until I came across the seniors life insurance policy add on television and with high cost of living I can't to live berdern behind for My family to pay so I applied and now I am very very happy thank you Australia seniors insurance for you have made me the most happiest man on earth. Over priced for the amount offered to me. Tried to cancel the policy but have to wait for a customer service rep to call me within 48 hours. Still waiting. Most insurance companies can cancel your policy on the spot when you phone to cancel a policy.

The Support Team was fabulous and great customer service and respect - I had to get transferred to another section,as I wanted to check out other policies being offered, I then changed the type of policy - young man was on the job and so helpful - as an Indiginous Elder I was able to make an informed decision this being due to the clear and presice language used - With absolute well manners for all the silly questions I asked him.
