Being a pensioner with a partner that’s on Full Disability plus I’m her Carer. Most of her medications are NOT on the PBS even though the government has included several others, but not the meds she requires; there’s very little money left in the very strict budget! Should “I go” before her, God forbid; @ least she’ll have a small amount to keep her going!

Life assurance policy purchased, with a follow-up call for my wife's cover at 3pm on Friday 04 October. Clearly the department was busy, because at 4:40pm we still had not received the phone call to take my wife's details and verify everything, so I called to advise that she had not received the phone call. The gentleman I spoke with yesterday was pleasant and informative, as was the one I spoke with today, but I was a bit disappointed with the non-follow-up. I am hoping this is not going to be an example of the service in future, and I feel confident that it will not be.

Thursday, 03 October, service was excellent, with the promise of a follow-up phone call for my wife to provide her details at 3pm on the Friday, but we did not receive that call. I called back at 4:40pm on Friday 04 October, and received a very polite gentleman, as was the first one, who was going to ensure we received that phone call within approx. 15 minutes. If we had received the 3pm call today, the rate would have been excellent.

The policy was very much like other offers from other providers. I chose Seniors believing they valued older australian customers but was hugely disappointed when I could not set up an online account to manage my policy simply because I did not have a mobile phone. When I contacted Aust Seniors their logic was that it was easier so that customers did not need to remember a login and password. Implying, I suppose that all seniors had memory issues, what a shame they don't tell you that up front.

Again, it took 3 calls, with me being disconnected on the first two, wether it was deliberate or not I can not say, before a pleasant agent advised me that their systems of access were designed to "save us older Australians" from needing to remember a login and password. I could not establish an online account because i do not have or need a mobile phone to live.

Missed out on 5 stars by not paying attention to detail. I would use again and recommend to friends. You were given debit card details and verified on the telephone by your team member to pay for the first two weeks premium of $34.16. Next payment due on March 1st by direct debit with BSB and account numbers supplied to you. I received a telephone call am 20th February from Australian Seniors to advise my first payment by direct debit had been declined. Not surprising since my card payment was not processed by Australian Seniors for the first payment, and you jumped in two weeks early to secure payment by direct debit that was not even set up. The first premium due has now been paid by debit card today,
